If you’re new to the group, please check out the Updates page which contains summaries previous meetings. We will have an FAQ posted soon, but the summaries should tell you much about our mission as a group and save needless question asking.
Multiple pages have been made (links at the top) so that discussion about various topics can occur there in the interim between meetings. Minutes of each meeting as well as other postings will appear on the updates page.
As for moderation, the current system is that each person only has to be moderated when they post their first comment, so after that you should be able to post in real-time. I think this is a pretty good way to keep comments coming from the right people and not random haters. By the way, posts containing links also must be moderated. If you have thoughts on how we can have a more effective site, I may be designing one soon so go comment on the Website page.

Just received an email from community events regarding your “day of discussion” at the clock tower at 12 noon but there’s no date associated with the event. I am assuming after looking through your site that this is May 15th? You may want to update the community events notice.

Thanks, Marie. Yes, May 15th is the Day of Discussion. You and a few other eagle-eyed readers have notified me of this omission in the Annapolis Valley Community Events announcement. Another notice with this info has been sent out.
